Bronzeville

Chicago Bronzeville has agreat wonderful history and beganning in 1779 with imagration of Afriacan American  resident of Chicago .so, in that times many slaves began to move to north to  find a job .Bronzeville is the area for the African American established bussinues and thrived.Also, it was ahome for several black newspapaer and business establishments.however, Bronzeville has been home to many famous residents such as ,The first African American female pilot Bessie Coleman and Civil rights activist Ida B.Wells and etc.This statue named Monument to the Great Northern Migration designed by Alison Saar and dedicated in 1996.It is located on Martin Luther King.

and became a "flyer" after hearing her bothers stories WWI and French women earning a living by flying planes.

This  a picture of Ida B. Wells was an author, cicil rights worker, and journalist who lived in the Bronzeville area from 1892 until her death in 1931. she gave her voice for women right ,  the right of african american and the fight aganist the practice of lynching.

The world columbian Exposition, also known as The chicago world fair .it held in chicago in 1893 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of christopher columbus arrival in the new world.chicago bested the honor of fair on new york city, washington D.C,and ST.LOUIS ,Missouri.The fair had a profound effect on architecture, the arts , chicago self image ,and American industrial optimism.

The chicago columbian Exposition was in alarge part ,designed by Daniel Burnham and Frederick law olmsted. so this designed follow Beaux Arts principle of design, namely, European Classical Architecture principle beased on symmetry and balance .It became a symbol of the emerging American Exceptionalism . The fair served to show the world that chicago had risen from the ashes of the Great Chicago Fire which has destroyed much of the city in 1871.

Million of black left the south to north because they found some of plitical powerfull klan chapter in indaina ,also the kkk raise in indiana political and society after ww1.In 1924,it has an election of edward jackson for governer.After ww2 the folklorist and stetson kennedy infiltraited the klan and give some information to media and law.He also gave acode word to the writer of superman radio program resulting in episodes in which superman took on the kkk.

Director D.W Griffith the birth of nation glorified the original klan. The film was made by Thomas Dixon and it based on book and play .so, the purpose was to revolutionize nothern sentiment by a presentation of history that would transform every man in my audience in to agood democrat!The film was released mytholigizing and glorifying the first klan.
